Where I live there is a mixure of people. One thing is certain. You better be able to afford your rent. It is not cheap. I will be moving into a smaller apartment because I cannot afford this one. I work where I live, and today I was doing the trash. In the trash area, there were four large cans of trash and a lot of it on the ground. I have never seen anything like it. The compactor was filled. What I don't understand is how someone brings, used Q-tips, strawberries, french fries, smashed tomatoes and all kind food garbage and dumps it in the trash cans and on the ground. I mean, did they carry it in their arms and just throw it in the can and on the ground or did they bring it in bags and dump it...and then take the bags with them? I never saw anything like it. You cannot unsee something like that. I knew before I even got into the trash area that there was trouble because outside of it there were tomatoes rolling around and some where smashed and smeared on the ground.

That is exactly what I thought, and I do know that is the case.

Even the poorest person can be classy and radiate dignity and respect. Money does not make anyone classy even though they can pay the light bill and have food in the cupboard. It is an inner quality that shows on the outside.

@MsBooklover Maybe some people just don't have any class, I suppose it is possible.

It's a shame someone made a mess like that. I'm sorry for you or whoever has to clean it.

It is my job to clean it up....I tell myself this job is only for a time. God loves me and gives me the strength to do what I must do.

That's terrible that people are like that. I have to say, the complex I live in is clean, even the trash areas.

Nice title!! Money blinds people and they fail to see. There is nothing class about it.

Sadly, if they have not learned as a child, they will never know right from wrong.

@arunima25 It cerainly does. Parents don't realize that they are not helping their children by letting them get away with not doing what they should.

@MsBooklover I very much agree with you. Childhood is the right time to learn responsibilities..personal as well as social. It gets tough when you grow up!!

Boy, so I understand that. It's assumed people with money are classier, and on the surface they can be, but often aren't. And just by the way I always defend people in the middle class or lower class (being one myself), but when they behave like how you are describing they are stooping to the lows other people think them to be. Your title is so relevant.

I know that I would feel bad if I did things like that and just walked away.

In my local area the council give us bins to put in vegetable and fruit peelings in. I hate to see rubbish on the ground. It bothers me when I see a doggie bin that is too full and bags of dog mess have fallen onto the ground. It is worth carefully budgeting to have enough money for rent or a mortgage.
