Good afternoon from the school house.
Yes that time of the year our traditional lunch
Mike had moose track and I had butter crunch.Two scoop on each.
This is the first of the series.We go to different ice cream places.
Any one else here do this for lunch"

Moose??? Is that a savoury icecream? Sounds interesting hobby you have there! I like ice cream but loathe the mass produced ice cream.

Looks good. I've never done ice cream for lunch. After lunch for dessert, but not lunch itself.

Sometimes.. I like a Dairy Queen Blizzard for lunch. There is a homemade ice cream place that I pass sometimes..but it is about an hour from here and not gonna make a special trip just for that. I had their ice cream once. and thought it was pricey and not exceptional. I bet they have a line a quarter of mile long though now on a hot afternoon like this one..I hope you enjoyed your ice cream.

@amadeo Yeah, the one I am talking about is a farm stand too. They do a good business. They have added outdoor seating.

I definitely have had ice cream for lunch.Peanut butter chocolate,mountain blackberry,burgundy cherry and chocolate are usually my favorites.green tea too.

I love that shirt.
We haven't done that for lunch, but I'll bet the kids would love us to do it. I bought them a carton of Magic Unicorn ice cream the other day. It was at Target and looked fun, and I thought, "why not?"

@amadeo I'm not the only one, as their dad lives here (but is at work today) and another adult household member does a lot too.
I just realized that it's National Ice Cream Day! That's why everyone's eating ice cream!

Until I read the post I could not figure out what "moose track" was. We have several "Western" ice cream parlors here such as Baskin Robins and others but I usually get ice cream from one of the vendor carts. Usually the choice is limited to coconut.
