Losing stuff is exhausting

First we lost my camera. We backtracked my steps, we found stuff that could be trashed or donated. We imagined where a little camera could fall into. And finally we found it! In the Goodwill box. Oh my at least the camera was found before we took that box to the car so that it could be out of our life. Forever. Then we settled down to watch a movie that I'd borrowed from the library. Easy and relaxing. BUT the DVD was not there. It was not: under the bed, not under the dresser, not behind the bedside bench, not in the stack of library mailers. No where. I did find a library book that I had forgotten I had. Finally this afternoon I went through the bedside dresser again. There. Neatly stacked with hubby's DVD, the movie 1776, there sat the library movie. Huge sigh from me. Hubby can't see. He thought he was doing well tucking those two DVDs together. We did get more housecleaning done and more tidying and yup, two more boxes of stuff went to the Goodwill today. So that is good. I feel like I ran a marathon race! Its time for a tepid shower.

You do know that there are mischievous little house elves that take delight in hiding things you need and bringing them back later. You did know that, right?

@akalinus Yes Fred kitten is in cahoots with those house elves. He helps them every single day.

@sallypup I am sure he is the ringleader and the elves carry out things that kitty cannot do.

@akalinus At least I know where socks are. Fred kitten has decided to decorate the dining room floor with them.

I loose the DVD player remote on daily basis. Its so little that it gets lost easily.

@thislittlepennyearns I totally understand you there. I lost the remote for my DVD player maybe within the first month I had the machine. I've learned to cope without it.

It sounds like you've gotten enough workout with your heart racing to last you the week. Now let's hope this is the last time you lose something. I am bad about losing something under my nose.
