Stopped for a few drinks

We left my sister’s house almost an hour ago. We were one of the last couples to go which usually doesn’t happen. We stopped at our usual hangout for a couple of drinks on our way home. My frazzled nerves need it. My husband ordered a shot with his beer so I know he is on edge after our close encounter with all of the children. Good thing I don’t have to be at the gym until 4:30pm tomorrow.

I can relate to that. We were having a quiet life in Germany but when we are in the Philippines, some of my nieces nd nephews just come for a surprise visit in my house. Of course I am happy about their coming but when they re gone, I feel relaxed.

Not really a big kid fan..although I don't dislike them. I don't like being around them all the time that's for sure.
