Would You Go Shopping In a Haunted Mall?

July 15, 2018 7:20pm CST
I went mini shopping at this new hangout in a remote place the other day. I read that the site before the mall was built was very haunted and there had been a few witnesses having an encounter or two. My question is, whether that is a true or false rumor; knowing that, would you still go shopping there or would you avoid it totally? There's no right or wrong answer; answer as you will.

Hmm, after some thought, I would go shopping there, for I wear Saint Anthony all the time, and pray...to be safe. I went to our local drive-in long ago on a date even if people say you can see a lady ghost in the restroom. Luckily I didn't use the restroom. Night and day time venturing to a haunted place is very different.

@ihasaquestion A pen-knife? Any special reason why?

That's true, it does make a difference.

@oahuwriter I am so paranoid that I bring a pen-knife each time I feel a place is spooked.

Of course I'd go shopping in a haunted mall. It might be a once on a lifetime opportunity but … why not? I'm sure it will be FUN!!

I know, right. It's like you go shopping with them ghosts all around. Ha! Anyway, it can be a scary thought if you go to a haunted mall, and then going to the restroom all alone. I didn't see a huge crowd at the mall when I was there, so perhaps the myth could be true. Shrugs.

There was this rumor sometime ago that there's a certain mall in a neigbhoring island province where there's a very big snake several meters long which had a secret passage in the women's fitting room and would devour a girl when the snake is hungry. The gossip was that the snake was supposedly a pet of the owner and it's what has brought good luck to the mall owner. It's funny but there were not a few who really believed in the "myth" :)

Snake is a mythical creature in some culture. But if you go shopping with pale ghosts, would that matter? Or do you think it's a rumor to entertain and confuse people with stories?

@ihasaquestion I don't think it was made to entertain or confuse people but to frighten perhaps. Probably it was made up by husbands whose wives were so hooked on shopping for dresses hehehe!

If they are harmless and won't hurt, why not. If you believe ghosts exist then you'll know that they could be anywhere.

Yeah, I know that. And I still shop with them passing by.

I don't mind and mind, I suppose. The news/rumor has scare off some of my good friends but some take it as a tall tale. In my point of view, any place could be haunted as well.
