This is a very lovely and sentimental song. It came to my mind today. It has been done in many different versions but my favorite version is by Willie Nelson. A very simple song about heartbreak and I think Nelson does it very well. I also heard Bob Dylan's version but to me, it sounded like he was dying. Anyway thought I'd share another song with you all. Only I could not find out who might have done this originally. I also know just the right moment this song entered my mind. I was out walking and a very loud song was playing on a car stereo. It had a great beat and it almost made me feel like dancing. It did put a smile on my face and then I knew I was sort of rolling back the years and how I felt now that I am back in the US. Then I got back to the apartment and I went down memory lane remembering how it had all been before and then this song came to my mind of all the people who have come and gone in my life. How do you like this song? Does anyone know about who did it originally?
