Getting a new PBA card

I never know if they actually work or not. "Police Benevolent Association" is that is stands for. The cards are given out by cops to their friends and family and basically are used as "get out of ticket for free" and similar. They are a notice that you know a NJ municipal officer and, usually, whoever is trying to bother you will back down. . . and maybe take the PBA card in the process. We normally get new PBA cards each July from our police friend at our niece's birthday. He wasn't there today because he was working. I sent him a private message laughing about it and he promised to get new 2018 PBA cards to my husband and myself.

Always good to have something that might be needed at some time. I am in a sort of bind here myself. I ordered the copy of my birth certificate so that after I could get a new SS card and after I will need both the certificate and the SS card to apply for an ID. Great huh?

Things got really tight after 9/11 for IDs, drivers licenses, etc.

I didn't know there was such a thing! So they expire in a year? I can see how that would be useful when needed but hopefully you won't ever have to whip it out.

I thought you are going to the Philippines to watch the PBA game. Lol. Philippine Basketball Association. And then I read it is not.
