I don't know much about them, so please tell me how they work. Would you mind an arrange marriage? Do you have any sort of say in it? Is it only in India or other countries?

I don't exactly know much about arranged marriages, but I can tell you that I would NEVER want to be arranged with someone to marry. *I* want to choose who I marry, should I even choose I want to get married. Oy, am I even making sense? LOL

I with you on this one. I would hate to have my life controlled in such a major even if it was by my parents, who you always tend to disagree with anyway! But saying that I don't think they have a high divorce rate..dunno, may be someone with more knowlegde on this topic can answer it.

for me i dont think this is a good practice. but some cultures do have it and i respecty that. i just cant think of being with someone that i really dont know that much. how much more spend my life with someone whom i did not choose.
