Back from the gym

Well this afternoon was full of surprises. Five minutes after I stepped outside, it started to rain when it wasn't supposed to. 
I would say it was around 50% and not too much to really drench me. I did get wet and walked fast to get to the gym to stay dry. Now it's sunny and warm in the 80s and not 70% chance of rain. Thank goodness for that.
Other than having two newbies to join our class, we had a sub, my favorite substitute yoga instructor who wasn't on vacation. Apparently, there was a mix-up on the scheduling ahead of time. We had a pretty decent size class and used the weights--I've used the two pounds dumb bells of course--for our prop du jour.
Here's what we did in no particular order:
20 Half Crunches with Straight Legs Up in Air (10x/side)
20 Half Crunches with Bent Legs (10x/side)
20 Half Crunches with Butterfly Legs (10x/side)
6 Bridge Poses and 1 Child's Pose
4 Plank Poses and 10 Single Leg Stretches (5x/side)
10 Double Leg Stretches (5x/side) and 2 Sphinx Poses
6 Half-Happy Baby Poses (3x/side) and 2 Half-Pigeon Poses (1x/side)
4 V-Sits and 1 Corpse Pose
I think that's about it that I can recall.

We have had thunder for the last hour..but I don't think it has actually rained at all.

Oh boy! I prefer no thunder and lightning with any rain storm. How odd.
