@rakski I believe prayers can help the soul, but I also believe in doing all that's in your power to help people in need. There was a story, a man was going fishing and his boat started sinking. He asked God to help him. Soon, someone passed by and offered help, but he denied it by saying: "God will help me". This happened three times. The boat eventually sunk and he drowned. When he met God he asked: "Why didn't you help me?". God replied: "I sent you three boats, you refused them all". My point is, do whatever it's in your power until the last second. You can pray while doing it .

It seems most people would do that . That's great, it shows you care about family and you love them. I don't think I'll pray, but if this helps my beloved ones, to see me pray, I'll do it. I'll do anything to help them.

@just4him . Probably so . I always think about the positive part of things, it helps a lot if you want to be happy. Maybe I'm too happy .

It depends, if it's big enough then there's no escape, all life is lost. They are really fast, smaller than asteroids, but that speed makes up for the small size. Praying helps the soul, but can't help against these events. Hopefully, we'll never experience this .
