Here I am sweating myself into a puddle. Why you might ask. Our air conditioner stopped working last night. Good grief. So why don't we go to the other house? Now, that's a very good question. We go over to Inverness to stay because the air conditioner there isn't working either. What are the chances that this would happen? So here I sit melting away waiting for the air condition repair man to come look and let me know why I am sitting here all hot and bothered. To tell the truth I think it has something to do with the bad electric storm we had here last night. Whatever the problem we need to get it fix really quick. It is in the 90's today and the humidity is out of sight. How is everything going in your part of the world?

Oh, I'm so sorry. I'm so thankful that my a/c is working. I hope you can get it repaired quickly. I have annual maintenance done on my a/c and my furnace. That way I'm less likely to get a "surprise" when I walk in the house on a 98-degree day or 26-degree day. Stay cool until it's fixed!!!

I am glad you have a/c working. Our a/c here was hit by lightning and it will be a while before we can get a new one.

You have a place in Inverness too? Wow, I didn't know that! Or did I? Anyway, I hope by the time you read this that your air conditioner is fixed. I don't understand how people lived in Florida prior to the invention of air conditioning!

@HazySue You referring to the house in Inverness? That's the one you're going to get rid of?

Neither do I. I wish I didn't have that house, it is a money pit. I have had it for 22 years. I bought it for my mother to live in. Now that she is gone I can finally g3et rid of it.

We have a typhoon on our side of the world. Fortunately we don't have a red alert in our city. Classes aren't cancelled too this Wednesday My son just left home But it's really gloomy and it's a very depressing kind of day

@HazySue I think nobody was harmed, I'm pretty sure in my city, but I don't know about the other places.

It's hot here today, but the breeze comes through the open window. For the moment I am not even using our fan.

@HazySue The past night I had to get up and grab a blanket, the air coming in from the window was almost cold.

Today it's delightful. It was only 60 this morning when I walked. Not having the a/c on a hot and humid day is my worst fear. Hope it's all fixed now!

@HazySue Cool morning here. I hope it is where you are so you don't need the A/C and you can go out and enjoy the fresh air. I started working on a new book yesterday. I'm still working to get Thread of Evidence ready to publish.

@just4him No such luck. What type of book are you working on now? I am always so excited when I start a new one. I do the same thing, I start on the next one before I am finished doing all the cleaning up of the last one. It's so exciting that you are moving to the next one.

I am glad your part of the world is treating you well It will take a few months until we can get it fixed. I hate to owe money. I'll save up and when we have enough money we will get it.

We ende4d up buying two window units so we have two of our biggest rooms to use. One for sitting and one for sleeping. It will be a while before we have one for our home. We have to replace the other one because we are trying to sell it.

Ok, you made me laugh. I've only heard "hot and bothered" used in one way so for me it sounded funny, thank you for the giggle. I don't think I'd like it where you are, I had a tough time with 27% earlier today when it was only 91(f), I don't even want to know how bad you've got it but I imagine it's stifling.

I agree @HazySue if 21% was hard on me I can't imagine how 80% would have felt nor do I want to.

I like to use phrases in unusual ways sometimes. It is so hot here you can't hardly stand it. It's the super high humidity that really does you in.

What an awful time for the air con to decide to go out! Two homes without it too, what an expense!
