A visit from my brothers

Today was a special day. Two of my brothers, who I haven't seen in a few years stopped by today. It was mainly so I can sign a few legal documents that seal the deal on the sale of our mom's estate, but it was very nice to see them.
I only wish they could have stayed longer but I did get to spend an hour with them. My younger brother is flying back to Edmonton on Thursday noon so no chance to see him again before then. 
But all in all it was a good visit and a good day. How was your day?

I have a feeling that it is forthcoming, and not in a negative way. This could be the bridge that reconnects us all.

It must have been a moment both happy and sad, knowing that the visit would be so short. Still, how sweet a moment, to be with your brothers.

@marguicha One of them lives a two hour drive away, but he works on the other side of the country. The other one lives and works on the other side of the country. I rarely get to see the one that lives here because I don't drive and he works 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off. (He drives truck for a West Coast company)

We haven't had any get togethers here, maybe things will be different when my relatives comes to visit.

These things need to be planned ahead of time so everyone can accomodate for it. Sometimes we can't get the time off from work or we don't have the funds to travel...etc.

Hopefully those moments will increase in the future. I miss the companionship we had as kids.

They are doing great, but I was suprised at how much they have aged over time. One is a year younger than me but he looks 4 years older. The other is 3 years older than I and looks 10 years older. I guess the guys in the family didn't inherit the good aging genes like the girls did.

my day last Tuesday, and the rest of the week, is always the same. it rains, or it is extremely hot in here. now, i am relaxing watching/listening TV shows while mylotting.
