My husband's boss got fired

Big changes at his company starting today. The head honcho from France came over and dropped the hammer yesterday. He will be there until Friday and then someone else will be coming over from France next week.
My husband stayed out in PA by work last night but he only brought one change of clothes so he is coming home tonight. He will stay out there again tomorrow night. He has to go down to DC on Sunday night for 2 early meetings on Monday and then he will be staying out in PA on Tuesday night due to the guy from France being there.
It is a good thing that I am independent and that we don't have any young kids.

No. He is now the #2 in the US division of the company. The CEO who got fired had a suspicion that it was going to come down to that. He had a conversation with my husband about it last week and actually said that, if it happened, he was going to recommend that my husband be named CEO. There was already a plan in the works, however, for who would take over and my husband is totally fine with that.

you'll need to take advantage that he's not home 
I know my mom would like some empty house to get some stuff moving and throw away old stuff that my dad always keep
