What do you do on a HOT day when it's too hot to do much?

I looked up and it's nearly 3 p.m.. I'm shocked! I've blew away nearly the whole day. I did clean and lube the house fans and wrote a lot on the computer. When I finish this post I'm going to pick up needle and thread and start sewing some bears. I got the mini alligator clips I wanted for holding the pieces for the mini bears together rather than using straight pins. It's something I read somewhere in one of my teddy bear making articles. It sounded logical so I'm giving it a try. That's about as far as I'm going to go as long as it's this hot!!! Pass the iced tea please....what are you going to do when it gets too hot to do much work?

I'm really bad with heat if it gets too hot i have no energy and have such a bad attitude. I'm way better in cold weather so when it gets too hot I'll try to take a cold shower and chill by the air conditioner for a while to try to clean or cook or somethign like that.

I can't do heat either. I spent Sunday in the ER in the nearest town with a hospital. I was so sick with a migraine that I could hardly move...thanks to the heat! My guy and I are curled up in direct path of the air conditioning and watching the tube. No point in cooking ourselves. I did do some fan cleaning this morning. They really needed it! This evening when it cools down a bit I plan to water my garden. It looks pretty pathetic since the high heat hit.

Join the club...you should be around our temperature range...actually even worse because there isn't too much wind flow. I had cleaned the fans and took a soaking wet rag out to the patio railing and laid it out. It was totally dry in less than 30 minutes! I am so glad that we have the AC.

That's true, but I am busy but I'm not. Sounds odd but the kind of work I do I sit a lot. With designing and making teddy bears I get to sit a LOT! Unfortunately when you sit you can notice the heat. I remember a program on TV here in the States, "Cowboy in Africa" that I adored. It made me want to go to Africa for the longest time. I may still try to go one day. Your country is sooooo beautiful!

If I have much I have to do I get up early to do it while it is cooler. Then I can be lazy. I have been sleeping a lot lately. Not tired, just sleepy and lethargic. It's 99 right now.

Well you know I went out early in the morning so I beat the heat for the most part. It was starting to get hot when I was leaving walmart.
I stay inside and in front of two fans that keeps me nice and cool. If I'm not cleaning or earning money you can find me reading. I don't take to the heat too well. If I get too warm then I start to feel suffocated.
