Yeah, it's 4:41pm which is just about the hottest time of day and the NOAA has it at 105(f) with 11% humidity.
It is even cloudy out there so no telling if maybe just maybe it will give a few drops of rain.
I did a rain dance the other day so maybe it'll pay off.
Look at Boobear, she was watching a bird getting berries from the creeping virginia vine which grows outside my bedroom window. The vine isn't really doing all that well but it doesn't want to die and I'm doing all I can to help it.

Oh no, not again @sallypup I can't believe there's anything left to burn up there.
When we get the 30mph it's usually not gusts, it pretty much blows that hard for hours, I really hate it. It's been mild here lately but then our windy season is usually from March through May.

We did get some rain but it wasn't all that cooling, I've actually had to deal with mild muggieness because the humidity rose to over 30% for a few days and the temps were around 97(f) or so.
I am curious, does Australia use Fahrenheit?

Yesterday (Saturday) it started raining in the late afternoon and rained all night long. We even had a flash flood warning that lasted several hours. Today it is so humid outside. I think I hear thunder in the distance. We might be getting more rain.

It was in the high 70s today, just glorious. We had a big rain Tuesday and our pool is almost overflowing. This is my idea of perfect summer weather

I know how you feel, it was 108 up here today and right now at 8 pm it is still 105 with 22% humidity, ugh feels like a sauna when you walk outside. I may not be walking tonight, I need to get one of those little hand held fans with the spritzer bottle on it for my walks.
She is wishing she could be out there to get that little birdie!

I know what you feel since Lake Charles will be getting some hot days for the weekend and beyond for early next week.

I hate mosquitoes. Have you tried putting vinegar in a spray bottle then simply spraying around yourself to keep those stupid blood suckers away? Of course it doesn't smell very good but it beats being eaten.
I do not think we will get much more rain here, it is back in the upper 30s and low 40s(c) here and thankfully the humidity is low.

I'll bet, you have the humidity to add to the heat, I wouldn't like that one bit.

Thank you, I hope it does too. Yeah, it is hot but it could be worse. Parts of AZ get up to 120(f) at times and honestly I hope we don't go that high.
