Why it is easy for us to tell our problem to strangers than to our family or friends?

Okay, maybe you won't agree with me but that's my observation. We've entrusted our problem, open them up (especially in site like this) to our virtual friend while if our family or friends asked us if we are okay we always tend to say "We are good".
What do you think about it? Why it is easy for us to tell our problem to strangers than to our family or friends?

I think it's because we don't want to be judge by our relatives, families or love ones..

Definitely, my friend, we have a tendency not to tell our feelings to them especially our down time.

Because we are afraid to be judged by the people close to us. It is more hurting.

Because I do not want to be a burden to them. So, I'll do my very best to solve it in my own first.

Because strangers are not likely to judge you like friends and family would

it is because maybe we can open ourselves up to virtual world where we do not know anybody personally. we can get some insights and suggestions from others, and not get offended by them when they say something for or against our problems.
here, i can discuss openly about the attitude of my sister. i cannot express my rant to her because my son, surely is with me and she is alone.
