Have you tried to install furniture by yourself?

Lately we visited Ikea and got some new ideas. But today the furniture seems to be installed by yourself and it is different than in the past. OK, I bought a shoe cabinet and other cabinets. Of courses I also bought a set of electric screw driver so that it will be helpful for us to install these these furniture. We haven't installed something like that before. Hopefully it is easy and it can work at the end. Or I need to find a carpenter at last

They are easy to assemble I bought three of such cabinets and it took me few hours to assemble them with an ordinary screw driver. The kits are very well made and very easy to assemble! Wish you all the best!

haven't bought new furniture so far, haven't even installed anything by myself. I think all i can do is install a table.. a plastic one

We assembled some Ikea furniture ourselves, it's not too hard. Here, paying a fee, we can have the furniture installed by their carpenters.

It seems it is a popular for people to assemble the furniture today. Perhaps some are very big and it is not easy to deliver.

@youless True.. It take multiple people to install it. It's usually huge and heavy. Being a woman, I don't have much muscular strength to lift heavy objects

Yes, those furniture that we can DIY are actually less expensive, so we bought some of them too, especially small bookshelves.

Yes, many times because I have no other choice. I'm alone in my apartment and nobody can do it for me. You'll enjoy doing it eventually!

If you follow the instructions carefully you shouldn't have any trouble. In Australia, they will come and assemble pieces for you if you want them to but of course it costs extra.
