Sunscreen is a beauty product that we apply on skin to protest it from sun damage. I use sunscreen regularly with SPF 30. I am going out on travel for 5-6 days and I will be exposed to the sun most of the day this week. Will sunscreen with spf 30 enough or should I buy one with higher SPF?
I have fair and sensitive skin. Please advice.

I think sunscreen is for all males, females and kids well. It protects skin from ultraviolet radiations that comes out from sun and UV rays are also cause of many skin diseases including skin cancer.

@lady1993 I think it's like how much time you are exposed to sun.

Hey there. :)
My response is very late as you have arrived back home already according to your latest discussion. :P But I'll give my input here just the same. :)
I guess, for those with really sensitive skin, getting a higher SPF might be better. But in general, I think an SPF 30 would be fine. The more important thing is actually (regardless of what SPF you use) to reapply it regularly, like every 2 hours, if you're staying out in the sun.
Much better yet, try not to stay out in the sun too long after about 10am. The early morning sun is the best. :) Look for shade after that. :P

Thanks for the wonderful response dear. SPF 30 is performing daily use. If we have to be under sun for long than hight SPF is good especially when you have a fairer skin. I used SPF 60 Thus time and it protected my skin well

@anamika161088 I agree. They said that dark skin tone is more resistant to the sunrays. Lighter skin tone needs to use such lotion to protect them. They are prone to skin carcinoma.

@Shavkat Lighter skin are prone to many skin diseases if exposed to sun. Darker skin is always better.

I do use sunscreen. My regular moisturiser that I wear daily has SPF15 and if I know I'm going to be outside for long periods in the sun I'll wear SPF 30 and up to SPF50 in summer. I also wear wide-brimmed sun hats and long sleeves in summer. I don't tan, I just burn, look like a tomato for five days and then go back to looking like Caspar.

Burn like tomatoes.. Same with me.. That's why sunscreen is must for me as well. Especially when going out for long hours.
