My husband and I are going to Cozumel in November. We normally go for Spring Break but we didn't this year because my husband had his hip replaced. Anyway, he booked tickets to Mexico for us for our 10th wedding anniversary in April. We were about to book the condo where we usually stay and my husband said "just put it out there on Facebook that we are going to book and see if anyone else wants to join us". Sure enough, friends of ours said that they wanted to come. They might bring their twenty-something sons as well. I'm still waiting to hear back from them on that. So far we need a 2 bedroom condo, but it might be 3. Hey, the more the merrier as far as we are concerned.

It depends. I like to go out with people my age and with my own daughters. But I would not trust a younger generation that I donĀ“t know much.

It is their sons so it isn't like they are total strangers. My husband and I are very low-key. We let everyone do their thing.

@NJChicaa I can get along with some of my friends children (all grown ups). But I cannot accept those young people that are forever in the Peter Pan stage.

@marguicha Well, even if they are, we have enough freedom that it won't affect us. We all are free to do what we want each day. We are just sharing the condo. If they want to join us for dinner, they can. If not, that's fine. We will be by the pool and on the beach during the day. They probably will too.
