Happy Sunday to all from this side of the world. The house sparrows are chirping joyously in this gloomy morning but what fully woke me up is the incessant barking of our neighbor's dogs while stomping on the galvanised iron where they are leashed on. The neighbors are the ones whose puppy was killed by a car, and they are asking for one should any of our female dogs give birth. They have dogs colored black, brown, combination of black and brown, but no white yet; that may be the reason why they are asking for one from us. But we know their capabilities to care for their dogs so we are doubting if we will give them one or not. Barking alarms are not good. We may wake up on the wrong side of the bed because our sleep is disrupted. Do you prefer to be awakened by a normal alarm clock, or by outside forces like barking of dogs?

It is very, very annoying to be disturbed from sleep by barking dogs .

that is true. our dogs are brought out in an earlier time but they don't bark. they just stay near the gate and watch people passing by. i noticed that when i went down last Friday to prepare breakfast for my son. i peeped through the window and3 dogs were staring outside the gate, and watched people passing by. our neoghbor's dogs are very enthusiastic to bark.

@Kandae11 I fully agree. We can call the police for something like this. The owner is responsible not to make them bark.

@LadyDuck that is what i and my sister thought so. early morning and the barks are so loud, it is as if the dog wants to get out of his dog house, and kept on stomping the galvanized iron.

I hate every noise to wake up. I like to wake up naturally, I get grumpy if a dog barks at 4 in the morning and he wakes me up.

@ridingbet If the dogs are inside and they are not of a nuisance for the other neighbors there is no problem if they bark. If they are a nuisance the owners must do something to avoid that they bark.

@LadyDuck that was what we were saying. their dogs will not bark if they stay inside the house. but one dog, is free outside the house and this dog barks even in the middle of the night when somebody passes by. i peep through the window and see the dog seemingly staring at me, or to my window. the one that barks in the morning is inside the doghouse.

our dogs bark, wanting my son to bring them out, them they keep quiet once their bladders are empty. right now, they are all inside and having their morning naps.

Lately I wake up when Luna starts yelping at my glass door saying "Mom, I want my breakfast". She never barks at me though.

sometimes, Xander yelps, and i like his yelp. i often tell my son and sister that a big dog like Xander sounds like a very meek dog when he yelps. he barks loud though when there is somebody at the gate.
