@Marilynda1225 wrote about them. These microscopic ants are here as well. Looks like they are there all over the world They are so tiny that they got into my tea from my sugar bowl and I could only see them when they were floating in my tea. They even passed through the tea strainer I even saw them on top of the fridge and they were there in huge clusters - a huge army. They appear without being noticed. I need to be vigilant and you too! .

Oh yes. You need patience with them. They are gone for now since it is very wet and rainy here

Ants appear when it rains here. I use NOTIX a mild insecticide and they are now gone too.

Ew. I guess if you are going to inadvertently eat any bugs they might as well be ants. Tribes used to roast them and eat them, so you know you won't be the first to partake.

@allknowing My friend Marta showed them to me in Argentina. She was the one that washed the dishes and I cooked. The ants got immediately in the dirty dishes.

Ants especially like to eat sweets. Fortunately, I live on the sixth floor now, and I seldom see ants.

The bigger ones are visible but these you only see when they float in your tea and wonder if they have got in where we cannot see and eat them (lol) No worry though. Your husband would get enough folic acid which is good for us they say.

They certainly are a nuisance and unless there's a crowd of them together (like in your picture) they are hard to see. I've used baking soda to deter them from coming in but other myLotters offered suggestions of using cinnamon and/or cloves.I like the idea of natural ways rather than spraying chemicals around

The insecticide I am using is the mildest and we have been using it for several years. It is very convenient as well.
