Image upload size limit - can mylot make an error notification? / myLot

At least twice when I tried to upload images on mylot I thought I was done but the image did not show up as the size was a bit too large. I was wondering whether mylot could show an error like"Error: image size too large. Only images less than 3 mb are accepted" when this happens as both times I didn't realise that the image was not uploaded till someone pointed it out. I'm using a mobile phone.

You WhatsApp your image to somebody and get that person to WhatsApp you back...Use that image

You need to make your image smaller. You can do that by cropping. Someone else gave me instructions that I never understood. I found that cropping works better. I always have this problem when using photos from my phone.

That's what I finally did. I wish mylot gave us a warning when the size is large. I didn't realise that the image was not uploaded as there wasn't any obvious error message.
