No Internet For Hours

Early this afternoon our internet went out and it was out until just a short while ago.
It totally put a monkey wrench in my plans for today and I figured since it was a rainy day I'd be able to spend time here on myLot. Usually Sundays don't give me much internet time as it's pretty much family day. With no family plans today what better way to spend a rainy Sunday.
Surprise!!
Still don't know what the issue was with our internet/phone and cable but at least it's back now so we have tv viewing for tonight 
At least the power didn't go out and we could still listen to music, make coffee etc.

Can't even understand why we were without cable, phone and internet for hours. It took a long time before service was restored. It wasn't even like we had a severe storm that would have knocked it out.

Not only was it the internet but it was my cable, phone and internet. It was out for hours and although I had other things to do I still had that longing to be online

That's right, we feel like there are periods where our diet consists of a lot of lemonade, but it hasn't killed us off just yet.
We didn't have the internet when I was a child, and the television certainly wasn't on as often as I keep it on these days. So its just a step back in time, with lemonade!!

Guess we need some lemons to remind us that life is full of disappointments.
It's hard to remember the days when we existed without the internet and all the conveniences we have now.

Sometimes when it rains here my internet goes out. I have no idea why, it shouldn't, but is does happen.

@Marilynda1225 yes, that is why I have been looking into getting a phone that I can get online with. I miss talking to my friend when ours goes down. It happens often.

I had plenty to do to keep myself busy but not only was the internet out but also my cable and phone. Thankfully we still had electric so the a/c was running fine and I'd rather be without internet than a/c

Thank goodness we had electric so the a/c was running. I'd rather have a/c than internet but thankfully it came back after a few hours.

Today was a weird day technology wise for me too. It stormed and our power went out a few times, but that wasn't a great issue. My phone didn't do its sytem update and up until about thirty minutes ago I didn't have the ability to make or receive phone calls. Which was a bummer.

I have the triple with my cable company so it wasn't only the internet but also the cable/tv and phone. Isn't it frustrating when you depend on technology and when it isn't working you want to scream.
