A 66 year old man who lives in Miami Beach thanked a Miami Beach code compliance officer named Jacqueline Caicedo for not issuing him a citation for not cleaning up his yard after his neighbors complained that the yard looked like a jungle. The 66 year old explained to Jacqueline that due to his illnesses that prevented him from working on his yard. The owner of the home has been battling depression after a close relative had died. Jacqueline hired 11 volunteers to work on cleaning up his yard which took four hours to finish up the work on Saturday. The 66 year old man thanked Jacqueline via an email for showing him compassion instead of being mean to him like someone else would have done.

That is true. Most of them are greedy by nature.

We need more of this in our world! Imagine it was even the officer that showed him kindness and not the neighbors who obviously must seem closer or must have known his condition. Kudos to Jacqueline and i hope more people like her come about. =)

It goes to show that not all city employees are monsters.
