What am I up to? Not much.

Princess just came and helped me respond to a post by @peaceful. He is back after being gone from us a long time.
We finished eating a bit ago. I had made a layered Southwestern seasoned meal, using flatbreads. A brand called Joseph's Flatbreads.Or maybe it was Jeremiah's Flatbreads. I threw the bag away, hubby took the garbage out. They are like a tortilla only square. I put down a flatbread, covered it with refried beans, then another, with a layer of taco meat, then the third flat bread covered with queso blanco, green chilis and a stripe of salsa. It looked good. Tasted great. Especially with sour cream, salsa, and homemade guacamole.
Hubby is taking out trash. I am just resting here a minute.
It is a good evening.
The black cappped chickadees like the birdbath, and are enjoying my mullein plant. I wonder if they are the ones who have decimated my marigolds.

@GardenGerty It actually was pretty good, my daughter doesn't eat bread and the buns were frozen so we tried it her way.

@just4him I have seen a meme about how our ancestors used to sleep, then get up for a few hours then sleep some more. That almost sounds like what you do with three hour naps. It seems to be working for you.

Those flatbreads are good and pretty healthy, flax and oats in them. I would not have accused the chicadees but as JJ pointed out, the seed looks a lot like niger thistle seed. One year I would plant marigolds and CROWS would come pull them out, carry them away, and drop them. The man at the garden center said they particularly like marigolds and petunias.

I saw a flock of gold finches near my home when I went out shopping today. And when I got to the plaza, there were about 8 million seagulls in the parking lot and on the roofs of the stores. Most were the standard white with black, but a few had light brown spots. None of them would move when a guy in a small car wanted to get by.

Sea gulls can be both bullies and beggars. The goldfinches around here love to eat sunflower seeds right off the plant.

I like flatbreads when we order at Subway. I've wanted to buy some but don't know where to find them. Guess I'll have to look harder at Walmart as that's the only major store we have to shop at. By the way your meal sounds delicious!!
