Does anyone actually like marzipan?

I am watching a episode of a television show where they were just discussing and eating marzipan. I am familiar enough with it to know that it is supposed to be fairly fancy, but I can't remember if I have ever eaten it.
So I looked it up, to see exactly what it was. It looks like it is primarily sugar or honey and almond meal- which I don't know about you but that doesn't sound too appetizing.
It is super cool and really cute how it can be worked into different shapes and such, although I much prefer fondant and it doesn't taste nearly as bad.
Anyway, have you eaten any marzipan or made it?

It's not chocolate so I wouldn't think it would be something you would like lol

I have never heard of the word, so most likely I have never tried it either. But I like sugar, honey and almonds, so maybe I would like it if I tried it.

I don't mind the taste of almond. but just having something called almond meal sounds yucky.

They use it to decorate cakes and cupcakes and stuff. But people eat it by itself too.
