I got the relished home canned, had a enough of the homemade pickle mix left to make a jar of crispy fridge pickles.
Went shopping and bought myself a late b`day gift, a new coffee maker.
Had a yummy crispy chicken sandwich at Arby`s, me and Tony share a large curly fry.
Seen several friends and chatted with them for a while, I needed that.
Sunday is all good!

@responsiveme LOL, I am one of the people who is going back to the old ways of life, simple foods that are more healthy. I would love to be all solar powered and live with well water, one day I will.

@andriaperry I like chick fil a's the best, out of just about anyones chicken.
Arby's is a little pricey for what you get.

@andriaperry My Gramma and my mother used to can. But they sterilized and sealed the jars in boiling water on the stove top. Then when we got a dishwasher, she would use that to sterilize the jars. I don't know the entire process, otherwise I would gladly attempt to put up some tomatoes and some red beets-my husband loves red beets.

Thank you. My dad taught me early, like age 13 making pickled hot peppers from peppers he grew in th back yard. but only the past 4-5 years I have seriously home canned with the pressure canner.

@andriaperry Doesn't it always seem that way when you're buying for yourself. You know what you would get someone else in a blink, but you is another story. I'm glad it was something you wanted, not just needed.

You are always so busy, even when taking it easy. I used to make a delish zucchini pickle relish. It has been a lot of years since I did canning. Gotta get back to it.

Well I did the prep yesterday, it has to soak in the brine overnight, so this part was easiest.
But yes, when I am awake I am doing something, I got 30 more years to live so I am trying to prepare now.
