For reason unknown I never attempted making Ksheera in my kitchen. Today I just looked through a recipe and was amazed how easy it is. Luckily I had all the ingredients. I will put less sugar next time as I found it sweet. I will also add pineapple . I had eaten this at a restaurant not so long ago

I always find that I tend to think it's harder to cook something than it really is. Good thing it turned out well for you.

It is a sort of semolina pudding, we add raisins and sliced almonds to semolina pudding.

We normally make another snack that is not sweet which has coconut, green chillies, onions and stuff. But in both cases semolina is first roasted in ghee. Probably what you call pudding must be similarly prepared.

@allknowing Semolina is always boiled in milk to make a pudding here, never roasted in butter or ghee.
