I know many people are connoisseurs of watches and have some exquisite time keepers in their collections. But in recent times, the functions of watches are redundant as more or less everybody carry their cell phones with them which perform the job really well. In everyday situations I often forget to wear a watch but seldom to carry a cell phone.Watches are increasingly becoming vintage stuff. I only wear them when I leave home, I usually depend on some wall clocks over here. Sadly, they are now broken.

@Sojourn Yes you can say that. It's more of a fashion thing now. With coming of mobiles, a lot of things has lost their utility.

I sometimes forget to bring a smartphone, if I want to see my watch I'm fear of being stolen.

I have a watch from my teenage days that I still wear. It works well but sometimes during humid conditions it becomes slow,then I need to take it for oiling and it again paces up
