This is the third time Mom went back to Government Insurance office to get her new pension card. Sadly, they changed her bank from Union to Land bank
.
But there was a problem with this card, it doesn't have an EMV. So, it's either she needs to find an atm only this bank or have it replaced again
Such incompetence, every atm's now a days has emv and this doesn't have one. What were they thinking?
They have updated atm cards for a reason, so they don't have to do the over the counter thing.

My mother renewed her ATM Union bank still, end of June. It took her just a day. I was sent by GSIS a landbank ATM too for my UMID by i did not activate it. I am still using my old UMID which is from Union bank. There is a new rule that you can't use UMID card without EMV but i don't have the new card yet. And according to the Union bank I can still use my old card till they finally sent my new card and i was able to activate it. That is the only time then that I can't use the previous card. Hope your mom can finally settle all her problems with the GSIS. Oh by the way my mom is retired.

@Letranknight2015 my card has no EMV and the union bank said i can still use it till the new one arrives.

@chavezrmc That's weird, how come they change mom's. Even though she made an appearance they still change it.

Hello @chavezrmc Unfortunately her union bank card no longer works and had forced her to change her ID. I've told her so many DARN times to have her card renewed but she kept insisting that she sent an application before. And now she's in trouble because her new card is Land Bank. Is you card have EMV? my new one has. Well, she's also retired.

I have similar goings on with the title for my car! It makes you crazy. I am pretty close to getting the police involved honestly. It really is disturbing.

@Letranknight2015 I cant legally register my car as they have not provided the proper title. They are supposedly getting it straightened out..we will see!

Her coming back more than three times is already considered inconveniece @josie_ She has no choice but to have it replaced.
