Whose face is this?

This morning I woke up and entered the bathroom. Glancing at myself in the mirror, I did a double take. There was a four inch "scratch" under my right eye. I put "scratch" in parentheses because it doesn't have the ridges of a scratch; it seems like a four inch pink mark. I also have two big bruises on my left forearm. I have no idea how any of this happened. I guess I could have inadvertently scratched myself in my sleep, but it doesn't look like a true scratch.
Has this happened to any of you?
*I wondered if I just slept on my pillow in a weird manner, but that doesn't explain the bruises on my forearm.

I get random bruises because of my work. That whelp could be you touched something and then your face and you are having an allergic reaction.
Or you were attacked by a ghost while you slept.

If something like that happens to me..I blame it on the cat. The bruises? You may have banged into something and not noticed.

That is very odd. I would be more worried about the bruises than the scratch. Facial skin is sensitive and it could have been the way you were sleeping but bruises are not that easy to come by while just sleeping. You didn't have a bad dream, did you?

I do often find unexpected marks all over my body, face not so much.

oh yes, many times. I always blame the way I slept. but that's because I only believe in ghosts like 20% lol

I don't think this has ever happened to me. That is odd. I hope you figure out what happened. Do you have animals?

@AmbiePam While in bed overnight, did you feel anything like a scratch or just a presence?

Maybe you had a wrinkle in your bedding and slept on it, for your face. Bruises make me wonder if you had a rough night.

I get those marks on my arm sometimes probably the wrinkled bed cover could be the culprit.

You sound like you saw my face in the mirror.
I've always been notorious for sleeping so deeply that I scratch myself or worse.
That's usually when a reaction or rash will develop is when I'm sleeping-and I've surprised even my husband on occasion.
I do hope that you take it easy on yourself tonight-okay?
Put little polysporin on that spot and it will disappear before too long.

Oh that's weird. I hope you figure it out.
I know once I woke up with a bloody scratch on the top of my foot. No idea....
You could be right - maybe it's just a sheet mark on your face, but what of the bruises?
