Just wanted to clear my doubt, she likes fish as a pet or likes to eat one :p If it comes under your budget then I suggest you go for a aquaponic fish bowl.

@brokekid0212 it is an aquarium that comes with self-watering plant pot. Not sure if it is available in all regions. But it would also make a good small science project too.

It is hard to tell, because we don't know what she likes and doesn't like. Gift cards are usually the safest bet.
