I liked 1990 the year that I was working for a lovely family in Finland. When my placement ended my high wages from there let me travel around Europe on an Inter Rail Pass. I got a job in a ship brokers in London when I came back to England. I was left enough money in my great aunts will I was able to buy a small cottage in 1991. I stayed there at weekends because it was in Kent and my job was in London. In 1993 I was made redundant and life got a lot harder. I decided to let out my cottage and go on to Australia on a working holiday. So I bought a ticket to travel around the world. I think back with much happiness to those exciting years.

If only I was into writing a diary and recording videos, maybe I could afford to remind me of some good memories.

That really does sound exciting, I got married when I was 18 so really didn't get to have adventures for more than 20 years when my children were grown.

@BelleStarr It is amazing that you had 3 children by the time that you were 22 years old. Now you are a grandparent. I am sure this brings you much joy. I think you liked visiting England when you were 38 years old.

I hope that you will be able to travel around the world. My daughter showed me a video of a lady in French Polynesia that was staying in an overwater thatched bungalow. Wow.

At least , you were still single when you traveled around the world, lesser fare. Were you able to visit Philippines? What country do you think is the one that you are likely to recommend to your children to visit also?
