Bullying happening in Schools & Colleges- A serious issue

Hi mylotters. Nowadays, we see that in many schools and colleges, students bully other students. I don't think it's good as because of bullying many a times the harassed students commits suicides. Moreover, it damages confidence of some students too.
I personally believe there should be some regulations being laid down by schools and colleges in order to stop students from carrying out bullying activity.
What do you guys think about it? We're you bullied in school or college? Do let me know.

I have tasted the sour grapes of bullying and it really did a lot of damages on me especially, I am very young then. And that wound has taken a lot of time to be healed. Here's one of my written piece that tackled bullying:
Entitled: DRY YOUR TEARS
Dry your tears!
Can we blame the thoughts of this child?
When whenever alone was ruled by sadness;
That the deepness of his heart was totally infected by grief.
Dry your tears!
Seems fate toying him,
Daily whipped with heavy hands and filthy words
Of peers from the school where he is supposed to gain knowledge.
Dry your tears!
His voice vanished;
The perception of this child was lost;
His taste of chocolates is not sweet anymore.
Dry your tears!
Your rowing in the river of anguish is done;
When you let the rope alone, hold thy neck.
Oh, innocent soul!
Dry your tears...
And come to the place where there is peace...

@Cristi_Ichim What I do is that I've always asked my 6 years old daughter, how is it going in her school. Something my parents did not ask me about because of their busyness, then. I think school is stricter now but still, I know a lot are still suffering from it. Parents must observe their child if they are being bullied at school or they are the cause of bullying.

Or we can let the bully in the school but deny him / her the right to bully anyone

I have never been bullied in school and I haven't bullied anybody at all. But in my hometown, I remember my cousin being bullied and I defended him. Those street kids were cruel.

Yes, I have been bullied and yes, I do think that there are ways to stop bullying from happening.
