Our window plants

Our windows have these plant - holders hanging on the grills, with these new plants. The yellow - green color of the leaves looks good with the grills painted red as backdrop. I have tried finding it on Google about the name of the plant but even my sister does not know how the window plant is named. I believe these plants do supply oxygen and purify air inside the house, that is why I asked my my sister why the plants are outside the window grills. Can anybody please tell me the name of the plant? Thank you.

Unfortunately I don't know what they are. They do look good right where they are.

@ridingbet That is probably the best thing to do. A plant will let you know if they are happy where they are.

@velvet53 hahaha. yes, i agree with you. once they wither after i touch them, it only shows my hands can help save lives of humans, but may kill plants.

yes, but the window plants are outside. we have plants inside and these are the tiger leaf plants or what others here call the "mother-in-law's tongue"

the stem is somewhat like plastic, and the leaves feel like plastic as well. i don't think it will grow big.

They look like semi-succulent plants, I cannot see the leaves well enough to guess the name.

@ridingbet It is very possible that they store water.

yes, they seem like succulent plants. the stem however is hard, but the leaves are soft and i think store water.
