I am up for some advice from you guys regarding a sensitive issue of verbal abuses. We hear abuses from many people in everyday conversations and frankly, sometimes directed towards us. I personally reel with anger when I hear any expletives thrown at me.
How do you guys keep your cool in such circumstances? Or do you revolt? Comment below.

Sometimes I just ignore them but if they hit below the belt then I will definitely counter punch.

@Sojourn If they hit the line of my patience and I know I am on the right side of the truth. I will surely defend myself with the words that they deserve.

I just come back with a verbal attack of truth that makes sense in a logical way, which kills them because they made it up from the start. Why they are verbally attacking you, to make you scared when they know they have no point to back the BS they selling.

Normally, I ignore it. But if it goes too far, I will certainly fight it back . Because if you are too tolerant, the other side may go even further.

Ignorance is beat at such times. It itself is enough

I try to give my message clear that they have to mind their language. If still it doesn't work, I would try to ignore
