Well, first off there goes July .... by the time you read this it'll be gone most likely.
Back to school sales are all over the place and I hear that people up in the northeast of the US are getting ready for fall, I do not have to worry about that because in the 58 years I have lived here we have never actually had an Autumn, we go directly from hot to not as hot to cold then warm and back to hot.
That is Meetzee waiting for the bug she's hunting to come out from between the double pained .... yes yes yes, I know, I spelled that wrong .... window so she can play with it some more.

On the 28th the kids go back to school and I am sad about that. We have had a decent summer together without too much arguing and fighting. I will miss them when they go back.

@rebelann Well, to tell the truth, they have stayed inside much of the summer months. The heat will flare their asthma up. Since our vehicle is in the shop we have not had the occasion to go visiting and well for the fact that they have been pretty much stuck in the house all summer long they have handled it very well.

That can't be that much fun for them but it sounds like you've got some terrific boys @Shellyann36 you're lucky.
I hope with the cooler weather coming up you'll have a car that runs and can plan some weekends to go off and have some fun.

Yeah, 70% and 88(f) would be a little sticky but here 88 would be kinda comfortable because we usually only get a humidity factor of less then 30% @BelleStarr

@rebelann 88 was the highest I saw today but next week we are supposed to get some 90s. It is disgusting.

I definitely wouldn't like living there. No fall colors. I happened to see a tree starting to make the change yesterday. It seemed strange because this is only the beginning of August. Change doesn't usually start until late August and into September.

@rebelann Yes, it has. I expected it to be hotter than what it was, though August isn't over yet, anything could happen. We're in the high 80's and I know the humidity is high, but I didn't watch the weather long enough to know what it is. It's muggy at 7:30 a.m.

@rebelann Oh, I almost missed this one. I am glad you are able to barter for the help. I hope that it does.

Mine has been busy. My buds are helping me clean out mom's house and boy is that one holy heck of a mess.
I've donated most of her furniture in exchange for them helping me clean the place up and hopefully eventually it'll eventually sell for a decent price.

So far it is working out very well @Shellyann36 I am really surprised how many people want mom's stuff and are willing to pitch in and help. Today her neighbor from across the street approached me and wanted to know what I was selling, I simply told her my friends were exchanging their help for the furniture they want so she wanted mom's clothes and shoes and is also helping me now.
I am really amazed how well this is all working.

Life is certainly getting away from me, just like that bug Meetzee missed-or did she wind up getting it?

I know that feeling. All those things I intended to do got shuffled around so often that I never did some of them and now I don't even want to do them because I don't have the energy anymore. Priorities change and then we retire.

So glad it will still be nice there for a while. It's really hot here right now which is a little odd because it usually tapers down to the high 90s by this time yet this year it's been over 100 more often than usual for July and August.

We have four distinct seasons here in spring, summer, autumn and winter. It is very cold in winter and it snows. The heat reaches above 90 degrees Fahrenheit in summer. Spring and autumn are the most comfortable season. Neither cold nor hot.

I hope the transition from hot to cold is gradual, here it seems to change overnight sometimes but at least we are mostly warm or very hot from April through October. Here it can be really strange, I have know November to have mostly warm days then one or two days that are very cold and then right back to warm once more. Even December can be very warm with only a few days here and there that are cold. Deserts are strange that way.

I'm betting the heat you get is a lot wetter than what happens here, it has been more humid than usual but I doubt its as bad as your neck of the woods.
