Gardenia and jasmine are very similar with each other in my opinion. Now I finally know that gardenia is different from jasmine and it is also not a kind of jasmine. By the way, lately I bought the gardenia online and it will be delivered here soon. Somewhat I am interested in gardening and I also bought device to plant the vegetables in the balcony. I must be crazy

@LadyDuck I didn't know whether it was true or not. The information I found via the net told me that the gardenia came from China. It is nice that they can also grow in Switzerland although they have to stay in the green house.

They smell good. I have a gardenia that I bought 18 years ago. I move it in the green house during winter, those beautiful flowers cannot stand Swiss winters.

Yes, gardenia is different and it can grow pretty big. I have one that is now 18 years old, it smells so good.

@youless I never tried to plant by the branch. I bought my gardenia and it was a very little plant. Here is a close-up of the flowers.
