Am I losing faith in God?

I'm trying my best to overcome a problem in my life. The more I'm putting in efforts, the more I'm praying to the Almighty, the more I'm facing troubles. Now my tolerance has been exceeded. My patience is lost somewhere. Why isn't God answering my prayers?

I've come to understand in my life that God answers all our prayers but not always the way we want. Have faith and trust and patience

What I want is either he helps me in improving the present or figure out a way to improve the future

If I have to recall on what happened to me, then I might say that God has forsaken me. But because of faith I go on. I may say I am not that religious but I believe that there is God and I believe in His perfect plan for my life. If I have to look at the things/people around me there are those that are more blessed than me and there are those that I am more blessed than them. We have our own cross to carry and we have our own happiness to enjoy. In time we will understand that God indeed loves us. Have a great day my friend. Take care.

@amitkokiladitya God doesn't owe us anything. He already gave us the most amazing gift of sending His son to die for our sins.

There was a time when I felt the same way. I still do some days when my faith wavers.

God never sleeps. God also never forgets. We must continue to struggle to 'get' what we want and we must also continue to pray, what we need. Whatever we need and want, we keep trying to God to grant it. But do not forget that whatever we want, maybe not what we need. And whatever we need, the best according to him, will always be filled by our God .....

I don't think that I'm asking for something great. It is just a basic entity for my survival. But still, I will wait

The enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy--not God. You are blaming the wrong one! God loves us and if He isn't answering your prayers then He is protecting you from something that you just do not see. We have been praying for a home for 3 months and our prayers have not been answered-yet but we know God is working on the perfect one for our family! Heavenly Father, thank you for loving @amitkokiladitya Thank you for taking care of her and always being there for her. Thank you Lord God for answering her prayers and giving her more faith in you. Jesus, thank you for dying for her and loving her THAT much!! Help her to feel your love, and know you are working in her favor. In Jesus name I pray, AMEN!

I have tears in my eyes. Your prayers made me feel so blessed to have a friend like you. If he listens to you, then plz plz just ask him to let me know that he is there. Just a small indication and nothing else.

Only God knows the answer to that question. I think of Job when I read your discussion. I am sorry for whatever it is that you are going through. Have you asked others to pray with you? …19Again, I tell you truly that if two of you on the earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven. 20For where two or three gather together in My name, there am I with them.” 21Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother who sins against me? Up to seven times?”

I never harm anyone....nor do I do any bad to anyone. But then also, all the prayers,,efforts always end up in a waste.

@amitkokiladitya I'm a person of faith and have been devastated a few times but even though some things have been terrible, there is no need or desire for me to lose faith. Job stated about his terrible trials, 'Should we only accept the good?' The Devil has claimed that we are selfish and when things are bad we will turn from God. I don't want to buy that argument.

I don't say this. But this time I'm devastated. All I'm praying is for asking him to give me an indication that he is there for me

Everyone wants God to fix all their problems. They do not realize great wisdom is acquired on the journey to resolution. Have you ever heard that adversity breeds invention? People also do their best to avoid Drama. Think about this. More is learned around Drama than at any other time. Life is about learning and growing as people. It has never ever been about having it made. In the larger picture, Brains win. Let's try to use some in solving our problem. Step 1. Define the problem. If one can not define the real problem, how can one ever hope to solve it? Step2.Gather information. Get information from family, friends, online, the library, and more. A wise old man told me that if you ask enough people long enough, you will find someone who has already had that problem. They might just have your answer. Step3. Be true to yourself. Some people do not really want to solve the problem they have for a variety of reasons. Step4. Solve the problem or learn to live with it until you discover the real solution. Some problems are not readily solved. Further, it's not just about you. How does your problem change you and the world? Will the world be better when resolution is discovered? More than likely everyone will Learn, Grow and be Better in the long run. Finally, get a good night's rest when it's getting to be too much or you are giving up. When you feel better, you will be ready to push forward again. God does hear it all. Have you really been listening? Perhaps, God has not been telling you what you want to hear. You are much more Capable than you realize. Your adventure awaits. Oh yes, never worry about making a mistake. More is learned through mistakes than at any other time. You learn what not to do. I can't wait for my next great mistake. Ah yes, it's going to be Glorious!!

God works in mysterious ways and He answers prayers, but he works on His timeline not ours. We get impatient and even though God don't answer our prayers when we want he is never late with his blessings. You have got to have faith. You have got to believe your prayers will be answered and put your total trust in Him. Turn your troubles over to God then walk away from them. Once we lay our problems in God's hands we need to leave them there. God can't work his miracles if we keep snatching our troubles back out of His hands by being impatient and not trusting Him fully. We have got to leave it with God and give Him time to work his miracles.

@amitkokiladitya God exists and He listens to our prayers. This I'm saying ,because I have experienced it myself. My parents have taught me to chant ShriRam Naam and I do so faithfully.I have experienced His Kindness. All I can say to you is,keep calling Him and have faith that He is our Father, our Mother and our everything.Have faith in Him no matter what the circumstances are or what you think or feel about Him.A day wI'll come when you would realise His kindness.
