Diary 30th July To 1st August 2018

Diary Monday 30th July 2018 The last of six course preparation sessions I participated in today, helping the university organize a training course for the social work students coming to Lancashire in the Autumn. Today we looked and crisis management and resolution where we found it hard to find good examples on Youtube. Diary Tuesday 31st July 2018 Today was the discount food collection service day at the community centre, and also the day I received my welfare payment, which has to last through to the end of August. I learned that a lady who regularly attends the community centre, sometimes even giving me a lift home, is in hospital with serious health issues, which is very sad to learn about. Diary Wednesday 1st August 2018 A whole new month, starting with payments of lots of big bills including my rent, council tax, TV license, electricity and water bills, which decimates my income almost as soon as it arrives. I bought a card for the friend who is in hospital, which another friend is taking to her (the hospital is not near home for me so visiting my friend personally isn’t possible just now). I used the community centre job club to catch up on my work search activity. Youtube - Conflict story Dr Seuss - The Zax Arthur Chappell
This for entertainment purposes only, enjoy.

I also had to pay more or less the same bills, this time of the year is horrible. I am sorry for your friend in hospital, I hope she can get better.

Sorry to hear of your friend that lady Arthur but so nice of you to send a card. I hope she will improve. Yes I realize and know the pittance at the beginning of each month that is supposed to last til the end, it never does.

@Courage7 not expecting to spend much this month so hopefully it'll let me get some money in reserve for later in the year

@arthurchappell Yes that is so important to have a stash just in case. I am doing a little of that thankfully.

How is the work search going? As Greg Brown sings, "Time ain't money when all you got is time."

Our son in Ireland got rid of his TV and now just has Netflix. We don't have to licence TVs here.
