We can be Superman...on another Star?

This has been on my mind for quite a while but it keeps missing on my busy days. Let me share now that I remember it. Clark or Kal-el and his kind didn't have any super powers back in krypton because they have a different sun. But all that chance when he went to earth as a baby and starts having powers on our Sun. Now my question here is this; Is it possible that we could have mutation to the point of having superpowers? Even if were on another planet? Just try and run your imagination for the moment...I'm sure it's not just a yes or no..
Everyone knows Superman gets his energy from Earth's G-Type yellow Sun, and that the light from red stars like Krypton's sun has a negative effect, right? No...

Didn't they make a movie about a guy suddenly having the special power of seeing the future after watching something bright in the sky? (John Travolta in 'Phenomenon', 1996) Not so sure if I would like to have any super power.

It's possible here on earth. Have you never heard of Jesus or Buddha? The power of God is contained within you...when you know how to unleash them.

Hello @Starmaiden I hadn't really thought of adding Jesus or Buddha in this suspicion as of the moment.

But superheroes like X-Men who have super powers because they are a 'Mutant,' really exist in the real world. Humans have power and can push it to be more 'superior' than others. Even various medical literature is filled with various evidence of the existence of mutants that are not fiction at all. They are people who have genetic mutations and make their bones stronger, high flexibility, and immeasurable strength.

Hello @May2k8 Well, being human is powerful enough, makes us learn things and improve our lives. Even though sometimes what we learn can be destructive. Maybe both can be achieve.

i guess to give an example in everyday life, it's like moving to another country. you change because you have to adapt to your new environment. you think fast, learn fast, move fast, do so much in a day because there's no one else to help you. another would be transferring to a new school or having new classmates. you might find yourself being appointed leader when before you were just average, or the opposite where you used to be among the top, you find there are more who are even better than you.

Hello @hereandthere That's true, when Filipinos move abroad they had to adjust to chance and sacrifice. Which make them stronger, wiser, and smarter. Probably richer too. I guess there are other methods to power.

I honestly think it's not possible to happen in the real world, which we already see in the movie world, where superheroes have powers of all kinds.
