Can the order of the notifications be reversed?

Anyone else find the way the notifications appear a problem? Would it not make more sense if they appeared where the old would be at the top and the new at the bottom?
This way we could respond to the older first and the newer later.
Is there a way to reverse the order of appearance to where the older are at the top and the newer at the bottom?

That's what I do too! Would you find it easier if the order was switched or it makes no difference to you?

@1hopefulman I would like to have the option to switch and switch back, as we have in every email program.

@myklj999 The newest notification is first and the oldest last. You are out of sync with the progression of the day.

@myklj999 Not everyone thinks or works the same way. If there was an option then everyone could do what they want. If an option is too much trouble, we can manage. It is not a big deal.

I would find it more convenient if it was the other way around and I just wanted to see what others thought. and if there was a way to choose a different order. Some sites give a choice.

@1hopefulman , the thing is that since now you know that the people at the bottom are to be replied first then why are you responding the top of list?

@AKRao24 Because I don't want to scroll to the bottom of a hundred notifications every time I want to answer a few notifications.

Since I always want to respond to those who responded first then I find it a problem when those that responded last are at the top where I start to respond. I have always found the way they appear to be a problem and wanted to see if I was alone or if others see my logic.

@1hopefulman It will be actually easier for us to see where we stop on our notifications, so that would be the last notifications then follows the newer one below just what you are telling. But I have never encountered such. Usually the newer notifications will be on top.

Now I try to delete notifications as soon as I respond to them so O don't have that problem.

Yes, there are ways to overcome things. I am probably one of the few that prefers it the other way around.

I have often thought about that one myself. It would be easier in responding back this way Especially if the notifications are over a few days.

Exactly! You are one of a few that sees the value of my thinking on this topic. However most don't see it. As I have stated, if we could easily have a choice then everybody can choose what they find best for them. However, since there is no choice at this time, I will continue to be content with the way things are.

@1hopefulman I use my page down on my keyboard to quickly reach the bottom. Not the best, but at least it is helpful at times.

Yes, because if I have a lot of notifications, I want to deal with the older ones first. I don't like people waiting too long.

Even I feel like that. It is easier to move from top to bottom. I find it hard to answer from bottom to top.

I'm sure there's a way to implement that but it could produce unwanted glitches which most updates do.

Some sites have options and things can be chosen by the user. Since there is no option and it might be too much trouble to change things then we will all continue to use what we have as we have done for many years.

Yeah...First give reply to latest and mostly it will be linked to your comments made in responsing other post or your own discussion topic.Just go to that specific post so you can check all update mostly in that and also not all..please note this too
