Goats On The Loose

A small neighborhood in Boise, Idaho had a strange visit Friday morning. It seems that 118 goats broke through a fence where they had been eating some weeds. They had been rented from a small business nearby to clear some greenery that could cause a possible fire if not cleared. Boise residents woke up to see a heard of goats frolicking through their neighborhood.

Thanks for the chuckle! It sounds like the goats' minder wasn't watching them very closely, although I imagine it's not easy to manage 118 goats at once.

@celticeagle This reminds me of the donkeys running around in a small town in Arizona.

oh my, i bet they also lost some foliage and flowers etc. lets hope they didn't destroy anything expensive cause that could be a suit. in any case, i love goats myself.

I though that the goats should have been in charge of a shepherd.

@celticeagle Of course not so cute if those goats decided they wanted to snack on someone's lawn, lol.

@celticeagle That would be hilarious to see. Also a bit disconcerting till you figured out what was going on. Maybe I should rent some to deal with my overgrown garden.

They might eat a lot of what you don't want eaten. They don't seem to discriminate.
