A Boise 9 year old girl sells cupcakes outside her mom's home to assist homeless

Bentlee Martinez, 9, who has knowledge of making cup cakes from scratch from her mom's home in Boise Idaho went on vacation with her parents to visit Florida on vacation when her family saw a lot of homeless people in the streets. After Bentlee and her relatives came back to Boise, Bentlee and her mother Stephanie Ford decided to have a stand outside of their home to sell cupcakes for sale with the profits going to raise awareness of the homeless in their town. Stephanie helped her daughter by buying the wood to build the stand and do the painting. Bentlee has been so successful in making up to 48 cupcakes from scratch per day that in the majority of days where she and her mom have sold their cupcakes, they have sold out the majority of the time. So far Bentlee has raised in the ballpark figure of $2,000 to assist the homeless. This young lady has a great chance to be a successful baker when she becomes an adult.
