The marigold garden in WBFDC cottage in Lava is awesome.

The West Bengal Forest Development Corporation Cottage in Lava is awesome. It is a cold place with temperature around 2 degree celsius in December. Blankets are offered to travellers. The marigold garden adjacent to the cottage is awesome. The garden is well maintained.

Wow...I have visited Lava and the place is so raw yet beautiful. Went there 7 years ago and have been yearning to go back since. The Lava Monastery is amazing, and the flowers add a hue to the background. Also walking around the nearby Pine forests are awe-inspiring altogether. Love the picture!

My home is not far from there. It is definitely very cold there in December. The weather is better in February- March.
