No smoking now ban in us public housing

People who rent apartments in hud building now are not allowed to smoke
In their own aparment.or out side on the properties ,they have to go on the side walk to smoke. And if they do and some one report then they can gett lose their apartment. Im a non smoker but i say it your apartment, yor home she be able to smoke in hour own apar. I can see some class action law suitcoming up. So whar do you think about this new law

yes most likely the govt does not have the money to enforce it, and some
renters are sueing the government over the smoking ban

I think they should ban smoking everywhere and then people cannot blow their smoke at those that do not want smoke blown at them. I think there should be stricker rules for those that do smoke and they should be followed through.

for me I like that but one problem then the goevermsnt will start ban
stuff like they did with plastic straws and now the next thing on the list are ballons

I do not smoke and do not want smoke blown in my face so I have to cough. It is not right.

I think it is terrible how the legal system criminalizes the impoverished. They have already passed laws banning smoking from public places, but now they are trying to pass a law that bans people from smoking "anywhere" outside. This will certainly hurt the homeless. The people in my advocacy group, along with other advocates, lawyers and social workers are on the protest. We are trying to dismantle the concept before it is passed into law.
People need to stand up together and fight for their rights. If you just comply with every law or rule being thrown at you, then you are "allowing" the government to control you.
