On holidays

Hi everyone, lately I haven't been very active here but I have a good reason, I am on holidays!! 
The temperatures are quite high this month in my country and we traveled to Algarve (south of Portugal) to spend some days at the beach. Beach is always my favourite place to go during summer but we have more plans this year.
I visit Mylot everyday just for some minutes but I promised that I will responde to you all as soon as I can. Right now I will try to enjoy and relax during these days.
Are you on holidays? Where do you usually go during summer?

At work, I am the most busiest during the summer, so I don't take off any time to go on vacation (or holiday as Europeans call it). Instead, I'll just take a day off of work on a Friday or Monday during the summer to give me a long 3-day weekend and then I'll take my family to the beach or to the theme parks in Orlando. Luckily, everything is close by where I live, so it is quick and easy to get to.

@nela13 Our winter is very mild, while our summers are very hot and humid. It's much nicer to enjoy a vacation in the nice cool weather of winter than it is in the hot miserable weather of summer.

The beach is such a fun relaxing place to go. I haven't been to the ocean in quite a few years and have only been about 4 times in my life. It's a long drive to the beaches with heavy traffic that makes me nervous. I haven't been very active over the summer but sitting next to my son during cyber school I have been here a lot yesterday and today. Still trying to catch up on notifications.

I don't know why but everytime I try to upload my picture I get an error. I will resize it and try to upload it again.
My holidays are going to end this week, but we had some good days.
