Yesterday's trip to the water park was a lot of fun, but I am really paying for it today. I had a rough time sleeping because my hips were aching so much, no matter which side I was on. I'm pretty sure that paddling around in inner tubes with my daughter in the Endless River is what did it. Or maybe it was the running around with the toddler in the Pirate Cove. Either way, I got quite the workout and am pretty achy today. On today's agenda: lunch at the library (come to think of it, I have books I need to return that I need to locate in my bedroom) and picking up the groceries I ordered yesterday, then coming home and doing some food prep, and at some point I need to get a shower as I still have yesterday's chlorine on my skin. Right now I'm going to finish this second cup of coffee and catch up on my notifications while the younger kids are watching Sesame Street.

How did the grocery ordering work out for you? Oof is right I would be sore too. And I am but it's from unloading the truck and stocking. Although I have loosened up over the course of the day..

This is my 2nd time getting them from there, and it's been great! I tried Safeway's grocery ordering and it was a disappointing experience. When they substituted items I had ordered, they replaced them with smaller and more expensive items and charged me the difference. This has been so much easier and they have a much better substitution policy. I don't have to worry that I'm going to get charged more, and if I send in my order and realize I forgot something, I still have a few hours to add the other item/s to my order.

@spiderdust is this the Walmart one? I might do it next week. I have heard a lot of negative things about Safeway. I used it once before I moved but it was just starting out then..

@thislittlepennyearns Our Safeway is open 24 hours and is within walking distance (a lengthy walk, but still doable) of the house, so it's our usual grocery store. It's a fairly new one and is trying to attract the Whole Foods crowd. It unfortunately doesn't have the grocery pickup option, so we had to a different one in the area for that (because I wasn't willing to pay for delivery fees). So, Walmart won in the grocery ordering game for us. My relationship with Walmart is complicated... I think they should treat their employees better, for one. I try to support good businesses by voting with my dollars and recommend others do the same when they can, but not everyone has that privilege and has to do what works for them. Right now, at least until the kids are back in school, the grocery pickup option saves me a lot of time and sanity.

I hope you did not get sunburned. Around here, they call it the Lazy River. I have not been in years but they pull you in on your second go round. Unless you can go way over where they can't get you.

@spiderdust Maybe you can ride it until you get tired of it.

@akalinus This one, we can. It goes in a loop, although it has 3 entrance/exit points. We sometimes hop in it and use it as a shortcut to get to other points of the park!

We call it the Lazy River too, but I noticed yesterday that the sign says "Endless River".

It took forever to catch notifications this morning, I had 154. Doing movements that we almost never do causes our muscle to ache.

You sure sound pained. But at least it was from having fun with the kids.
