Can you believe they didn't take Christine or Pearl Harbor? What is wrong with them? Those are both classics! Especially Christine! Oh well. Encounters of Sherlock Holmes by Several different authors $2.00 The Night Sister by Jennifer McMahon $4.00 Talk By Van Wormer 0.90 Gone To Dust By Matt Goldman$2.95 Gap Creek by Robert Morgan$1.00 Wired By July Garwood$1.95 Not as many today. I am thinking I'll have to start getting books that are a little more expensive. I believe I've picked through most of the cheaper ones in the genres that I read. Have You Read books from any of these authors? Have You Read any of these books? Which Title Jumped Out At You? *I normally post a picture but I accidentally saved it as something different and I've already deleted the image on my facebook. In other words, I can't be bothered to try again.

I have been looking for a copy of Christene! Lol. Of course you probably have the only copy in the world. I haven't heard of any of those books either.

@thislittlepennyearns Of course, I will. Give me a few weeks. I think, at the rate I am going, I should have the majority of the dvds sold off by mid September. If I can't sell the rejects locally, I'll list them.

I may end up selling it on ebay eventually. The shop I had talked about selling to? The other one? They didn't give me confidence that they'd take any of the movies. She said "it depends." I didn't take a good look at the dvd section of this other place, but they didn't have very many I know that.

I never heard of any of them. I usually take a look at what the latest books out are on Goodreads and make searches for older books I might have heard of online. You got some good prices.

I thought so too. There are some good prices for things like Edgar Allen Poe, Grimm's Fairytales, Sherlock Holmes Anthologies etc. I have considered getting Grimm's Fairytales but not so sure. The prices may be good ($10-$15.00 versus $25-$35) but I am trying to get the most out of the voucher I get. Have you checked out that book store in Daytona Beach yet?

@ScribbledAdNauseum I found that there are several bookstores but I will have to figure out how far they are from me and how to get there. Transporation is a big question and you do not see buses too often. I might wind up far from home and no way to get back. I will search the transport question online.

@RasmaSandra Hopefully there will be one or two that are closer to you. I don't drive (too nervous), and my uncle is the one that takes me. I've taken cabs to places before but I am not so sure I'd trust these new lyfts and uber etc. It took me awhile to get used to the idea of a cab even.

Usually one of the books you get jumps out at me but I haven't read any of those.

A few of these I got from the "general fiction" section today. I believe I can fill two tote fulls of DVDs for them to look at the same day. Anymore and they have to hold them over, which also means they won't give back any rejects. I like to take only enough for a tote full, but I thought about taking a little over a tote full this next time. I may wait a few weeks in between the next haul though, not sure yet.

With the exception of Julie (I wrote July for some odd reason) Garwood, they are all new to me. I've never read anything from Julie Garwood, but her name is familiar.

Maybe they are already well stocked on Pearl Harbor and Christine? Never heard of any of those authors or titles.

They might be. I don't ever check their dvd section out. I don't have a DVD player so there's really no need. I buy everything digitally.

I've only ever heard of Julie Garwood. The Sherlock Holmes book was on the "$2.00 and Under" rack which is near the registers. I had to grab it up.

@kobesbuddy They have a few hardback books of "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes." I only have a paperback. I thought about selling them the paperback and buying the hardback.

I think Christine surprised me more than Pearl Harbor. I believe the Pearl Harbor one was a collector's edition even. Oh well.

I imagine that either they already had them in stock, or they knew they wouldn't be able to sell them for a profit. Similarly {but not really}, in charity shops over here they won't accept any Dan Brown books because you can guarantee that any charity shop you walk into will already have a vast Dan Brown collection.

These dvds belonged to my brother. I am selling them off, and apparently he had two copies of pearl harbor. They didn't take the other, which was in the same condition albeit a collectors edition, but they took the copy I took up there today. I do not understand why. Yes, this store has a lot of Dan Brown. I imagine they are probably not taking many Dan Brown books anymore, though I can't be certain. They have a lot of James Patterson as well, and they seemed to have gotten more since the last time I was in. I think that they probably take up to a certain number of copies per book.
