My friend Cindy and I have not exchanged our Christmas gifts yet, well that was true as of yesterday. I bought her a really nice sun hat that I want her to be able to use on her upcoming cruise. I called her yesterday as we were coming home from exercise and told her I wanted to get together before I go away to my genealogy conference.
She suggested we go for pedicures. I love a pedicure so it seemed like a great idea to me. I dropped off Al, grabbed us some frozen Dunkin Donuts coffee and headed for her house. We exchanged our gifts and then went for our 4 p.m. appointments.
I have included a picture of my feet, after the pedicure. This is a new color for me but I like light colors in the summer.

Yes, it was a nice time. She and I talk on the phone often but getting together can be an issue.

@BelleStarr Leg massage should be done only if they know exactly what to do. The physiotherapist of my husband showed me when I had a pulled muscle, a wrong massage can worsen varicose veins.

Nice to know that you had your pedicure and your nails are looking very nice! You have not exchanged Christmas gits as yet....it is now more than 8 moths + odd days....I am happy to know that there are people here who are more procrastinators than me! Just kidding! Take care! lol Yes we were very bad, usually we exchange on New Years Eve but we didn't get together on New Years and then I went to Florida for 4 months and well then the rest is procrastination, actually it was her, she forgot where she put my gift lol

I have happy toes after getting extra cartilage trimmed from a podiatrist in town. We'd discussed the pros and cons of removing several nails entirely but I found out the procedure isn't always successful.
There's is no way I'd consider posting a pic of my nails unless it was on a health blog or something to help others. I was never into painting my toe nails before anyway but yours looks lovely.

Thank you, I have been lucky not to have had any issues with my toenails. One of them is a little thick but that is about it. I love getting my nails done, so relaxing.

wonderful. i have had 1 just one pedicure in my whole long life and it was great. my feet are a mess these days but that is because of fungus. if i had kept up with the pedicures they would probably be so much better

I love those frozen coffees but I am not quite sure why they are so calorie loaded. Tastes so good.
